27th March 2017
It’s been a while since I have updated the blog and thought it was time to let you know some of the things I have been up to. I have been working on a project to document the Birmingham Wholesale Market before it demolished. The Wholesale Markets are moving out to a new location in Witton end of March 2017. I will be producing a photobook capturing the market and traders before it closes down. I am also in contact with Friction Arts who have a heritage funding bid to put on events in the Wholesale markets once the traders have moved out until to site is demolished. They are also filming and recording the traders for an archival collection of material. I hope to photograph the creative events they hold and am also interested in capturing the demolition of the site prior to re-development.
My other big news is that I am going to Hawaii on a self funded trip to photograph Honolulu and the Big Island of Hawaii as well as San Francisco in California!
Also in 2018 Dialogue will hopefully be having a show in Bordeaux which will be something exciting to work towards.
